How to Scan and Redeem a Gift Card at Checkout

Learn how to scan and redeem a customer’s gift card during checkout on your allO Go device.
This lets you easily apply stored balances as partial or full payment.

Step-by-Step Guide

Creating a Gift Card (if needed)

1. Open Marketing → Customer Card → Create.

2. Create a gift card with a balance (e.g., €10).

3. The system will generate a QR code for the card.

Redeeming a Gift Card at Checkout

1. Go to the active table and tap Pay.

2. Select Gift Card / Customer Card.

3. Choose one of the following:

   • Tap Camera to scan the QR code, or

   • Enter the code manually (e.g., 12585 6639 0845 6929).

4. Once the code is confirmed, the gift card amount is automatically deducted from the total.

Completing the Payment

1. Review the updated total — for example:

   • Original total: €39.99

   • Gift card applied: €10.00

   • Remaining to pay: €29.99

2. Proceed to pay the rest with any other payment method.

3. The final receipt will show:

   • Total amount

   • Gift card deduction

   • Remaining balance payment
