How to set default receipt settings

Set your default receipt preference — choose between printed receipts, PDF receipts, or no receipts at all.
You can also hide category details on the daily report to keep it shorter and cleaner.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open Settings

    • Go to the menu in the top left corner.

    • Navigate to Settings → Restaurant Settings → Configuration.

  2. Set Default Receipt Type

    • Under Receipt Settings, select your preferred default option:

      • No receipt

      • Hospitality receipt

      • PDF receipt

    • The selected type will automatically appear in the checkout by default.

    • You can change this anytime by returning to the same menu.

  3. Check in Checkout

    • Open a table and go to Pay.

    • Confirm that your selected receipt type appears by default.

  4. Hide Categories in Daily Report Printout

    • Still under Report Settings, find Hide categories in daily report printout.

    • Disable it to remove the top section listing all sold categories.

    • When printing the daily report, it will now show only gross and net totals — a more compact layout.

💡 Tip:
Hiding categories simplifies the daily report and makes it faster to review totals.
